For the much needed dose of jazz, Peter Beets – Henk Meutgeert New Jazz Orchestra organizes a public rehearsal in Podium Azijnfabriek in Den Bosch. Take a musical detour on Sunday March 21 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and grab a shot of dazzling jazz!

Fi-nal-ly… you can enjoy live music again! The men and women of the Peter Beets – Henk Meutgeert NJO bring you dazzling jazz in a corona-proof concept. During Jazz to Go you walk around Podium Azijnfabriek, look through the large windows and take a look through the open doors. You hear and see the most promising jazz musicians who, after a year of solitary confinement, play fantastic jazz under the direction of Henk Meutgeert and Peter Beets. So you can bet that they are eager to get started. You will also immediately have a scoop, as you will get a taste of their new program “Gershwin Celebration” with singer Izaline Calister.

With Jazz to Go you treat yourself and someone else to a unique musical moment and get the steps on your pedometer. You also support culture and support the members of the big band.
How does it work? You buy a time slot for 15 minutes, valid for two people. There are two types of tickets:

  2. Timeslot including digital album “The Flying Dutchman” * for € 10, –

On the album, Peter Beets and Henk Meutgeert take works by composers such as Wagner, Chopin, Piazolla, Jobim and Ellington and provide them with the essence of jazz: swing and improvisation. There is also new work by Meutgeert and Beets on the album.
